To Define Raceway Weight Setting Overwrite

The Cable Routing > Raceway Weight Settings tab of the Options dialog allows you to define additional raceway weight settings which can be used to overwrite the default.
  1. Open the Options dialog from one of the following locations:
    • Manage > Options
    • File > Options (Backstage page)
  2. Click Cable Routing, then the Raceway Weight Settings tab.
  3. The default weight setting is 100000 lbs per 1000 ft spool of cable.
  4. Click the Add icon to add a new overwrite record.
  5. Enter a new Name for the overwrite.
  6. The default name will be Overwrite 1, Overwrite 2 etc.
  7. Click the arrow icon next to the Name property to expand the overwrite properties.
  8. Enter a new value for the Weight field either directly, or by using the incremental arrows to increase/decrease the default value.
  9. Click in the Raceway System value field, then click the Browse icon to display the Raceway Property Manager.
  10. Define the System, Catalog and Variant (Size) in this dialog and click OK to apply the values.
  11. Specifying a Variant or Voltage Level is not required.
  12. When finished defining the new values, click Apply to save the changes.
  13. Continue to define new overwrites, or, if finished in the Options dialog, click OK to close.
